SeaBreeze Fish & Shell
A fish bistro where the catch changes the menu and wine gets equal billing.

SeaBreeze Fish & Shell was opened in 2017 by Scottish restaurateurs Alex and Ruth Grahame.
Before moving to Cape Town, they worked in the restaurant business in Aberdeen, which gives SeaBreeze an interesting starting point: a North Sea familiarity with fish meeting the produce of South Africa’s coastline.
The menu is not treated as something fixed.
It is reprinted according to the available catch, with local seafood such as Saldanha Bay mussels and flavours that also draw on Cape Malay spices.
Wine matters just as much.
The owners treat it as an equal part of the fish-bistro experience rather than a formal accompaniment added at the end.
That makes SeaBreeze a place where both the day’s catch and the bottle you choose can change the whole meal.
In short: 🐟 Catch-led menu · 🦪 Local seafood · 🌶️ Cape Malay spices · 🍷 Strong wine focus · 🏴 Scottish founders · 📍 Bree Street
