Privacy Policy

FROGI (the frogi.travel website and our Telegram bot) is owned and operated by an individual, Adel Suprun (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@frogi.travel.

1. In short

FROGI is a travel media publication and a services catalogue. There are no forms on the website: we do not ask for and do not store your name, email, phone number or any other personal data. You can read the site entirely anonymously.

Personal data reaches us in one case only — when you contact us yourself: through our Telegram bot or by email. See section 3.

2. What happens when you simply read the site

Traffic analytics — self-hosted Plausible Analytics. It uses no cookies and collects no personal data: only aggregated, anonymous metrics (page views, referrer, country).
Article view counter — we record an anonymous view (item, language, country, broad referrer type). To prevent inflation your IP address is used briefly in memory only; it is never written to the database.
Web server logs — like any website, the server records technical requests (IP address, user agent, URL, response code). This is needed to keep the service running and to prevent abuse; logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to profile visitors.
Colour theme (light/dark) is stored in your browser’s localStorage, not in a cookie.
The interface language is carried in the page URL; no separate cookie is used.

There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site. We show no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

3. Telegram concierge bot

The only channel through which we receive personal data is our Telegram bot. If you start a conversation with it, we process:

your Telegram ID, username and profile name — supplied by the messenger itself;
the content of your request: the service you are interested in, dates, number of people, preferences, questions;
the page you came from and campaign tags (UTM) — so we know which material was useful.

Why. To reply to you and to arrange the service: to find an option and pass your request to the provider.

Who receives it. Services on FROGI are provided by partners (guides, rental companies, tour organisers and so on). So that a partner can contact you and fulfil the order, we pass on only what is necessary: the substance of the request and a way to reach you. Payment is made directly to the partner — we never request, see or store payment details.

Messages are exchanged inside Telegram, so Telegram’s privacy policy applies in addition to this one.

4. Email

If you write to info@frogi.travel, we process your address and the contents of your message solely in order to reply.

5. Who else data goes to

We do not sell your data and do not share it for third-party advertising. Besides the fulfilling partner (section 3), data passes through:

Telegram — as the messenger hosting the conversation;
our own infrastructure — our servers and a self-hosted database (Supabase self-hosted).

We do not use your data to train AI models. AI tools are used only when preparing editorial material and do not process visitor data.

Affiliate links. The site contains affiliate links to third-party booking services — for example Trip.com, Klook, 12Go, Airalo, KKday, Cherehapa, Travelpayouts. Following such a link takes you to the partner’s own website, governed by their privacy policy. We may earn a commission on orders placed there. We pass no personal data to those partners; the click itself is recorded as an anonymous analytics event.

Map links. For places and events we build Google Maps links; following them takes you to Google under its own terms.

We may also disclose data where required by law or where necessary to protect rights and safety.

6. Retention

Bot conversations and the related request are kept for as long as needed to deliver the service, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case of a dispute.
Emails are kept for as long as the correspondence requires.
Anonymous statistics are kept in aggregated form, unlinked to any individual.

You may ask us to delete your conversation and request sooner — see section 7.

7. Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and you may withdraw consent to processing. Write to info@frogi.travel and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

8. Children’s data

The service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have received a minor’s data, tell us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: database access control (RLS), a limited circle of people with access, secure transport. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy — for instance when new features appear on the site. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date. We will try to announce material changes separately.
