La Petite Colombe
La Colombe's younger sister that has long since become a story of its own.

La Petite Colombe opened in Franschhoek in 2017 as the younger sister of La Colombe.
But the word “younger” only explains the beginning.
The restaurant first operated at Le Quartier Français before moving to a glass-walled space at Leeu Estates. The connection to La Colombe remains in the name, which means “little dove”, but the team and menu have their own identity.
The experience is built around a long multi-course menu, precise cooking, and presentation that unfolds gradually throughout the meal. Over time, the restaurant has become less of a smaller version of its famous sibling and more of a distinct school within the same group.
The setting reinforces that independence. The glass dining room opens towards the vineyards and mountains of Franschhoek, making the restaurant feel rooted in the valley rather than transplanted from somewhere else.
In short: 🕊️ Sister restaurant to La Colombe · 🍽️ Long multi-course menu · 👨🍳 Independent team · 🍇 Leeu Estates · 🪟 Glass dining room · ⛰️ Franschhoek vineyard views
