The Bungalow
A rare restaurant inside Clifton Reserve, where the evening starts with sunset.

The Bungalow occupies an unusual Cape Town location: directly inside Clifton Reserve, between the ocean, Lion’s Head and the Twelve Apostles.
The name can be slightly misleading.
This is not an old beach house that happened to survive by the water. The Bungalow opened in 2011 as a modern Kove Collection hospitality project on the Glen Country Club site.
The entire experience is built around the location.
During the day, it works as a long-lunch restaurant by the ocean. As evening approaches, attention shifts towards sunset, music and the terraces, and the place gradually starts to feel more like a sunset venue.
So this is less about discovering an old Cape Town story and more about choosing the right hour to experience the coastline.
In short: 🌊 Inside Clifton Reserve · 🌅 Sunset setting · 🏔️ Lion’s Head and Twelve Apostles · 🍽️ Oceanfront dining · 🎶 Evening music · 🕰️ Since 2011
