Signal Hill

The easiest way to see Cape Town from above without hiking. You can drive up Signal Hill and enjoy panoramic views of the city, the Atlantic coastline and the surrounding mountains.

In the evening, plenty of people come here to catch the golden hour. You can sometimes spot paragliders taking off from the hill.

Interesting fact: Signal Hill has another story the Noon Gun. The cannons on its slopes have been used for Cape Town’s traditional midday signal for more than two centuries.
